CURRICULUM
Foundations of Faith
When Allah announced to the angels that He was going to create a vicegerent on earth, the angels asked Allah why He would create another type of being. The angels had already observed the jinn creating mischief and spreading evil and were concerned that human beings would do the same. Allah simply stated that He knows of what they know not. After creating the first human being, Allah then taught Adam (Allah bless him and grant him peace) the names of all “things.” Allah created another being to teach us. The ability to learn makes humans Allah’s greatest creation.
This course is designed to teach the essentials of Islam that every Muslim needs in order to live his or her life in accordance with the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah.
